I love taking something that is old or has been discarded and repurposing it into an interesting piece of art.  I live in sunny Longboat Key, Florida with my husband, and enjoy spending time creating in my studio.  I love vintage mannequin forms, rusty stuff, anything old and of course a little bit of whimsy.

Recycling and repurposing is a part of my art.  I’m a self taught mixed media assemblage artist and my toolbox consists of things like paper clay, paper-mache, acrylics, stains, wood, wire, cardboard, found objects and so much more!

 

I love the freedom these different mediums give me and I enjoy seeing how they evolve from nothing into something!
